This is good 'cause all you other bums were silent when I sent out a general invitation upon his demise. Even those of you I contacted personally--not a single taker. I think it's clear that Hermis and I will win this pretty soon--if not on this clock stop then certainly on one of the next few. This new addition allows us to give credit to Kalvis for everything he did to aid the alliance in its early years, and also to make sure that we can move on quickly to a new world where we can all duke it out on an equal footing again. If Kalvis really wants to join the SA, at this late date, after all the chance's he's already had -- he should have the courage of his convictions and announce it himself! Of course, if he'd prefer to give the slithery snakes a big surprise -- the snakes who never came to his aid when he was dying before -- we porcupines would be happy to discuss some more interesting alternatives! The historical record, and even the maps of the world, are testament to the support we have given to our friends over the ages. Can the snakes or hermits name more than region that they gave to their allies in their time of need? Kalvis owes the SA nothing, and gains no glory by helping them win in this fashion. But there is much we could do together to fight the SA and create real glory by bringing down the mightiest pair of nations ever known! So why join the winning side, and betray all that has been done to keep this world alive, when there is so much more fun to be had - and real friends to be had - on the other side? Where's the sport in pushing the SA so far over the top that no one can enjoy playing anymore? (If the rest of us wanted to restart, we would have done it long ago. The universe had some interesting wars and great powers emerged and died. But now we are facing the final conflict: SA vs ML. Only one of them can win and there is no other power to challenge the winner of this conflict to keep this universe going. I took side that I am more sympathetic with and although we, kaunieciai, have deep respect for porcupines, we have even deeper one for members of SA, who stood their ground against the whole world. So it is time to end this universe and I hope that my joining of SA will allow the ticking clock to end its counting of final hours of WJ. So thereby I second the announcement from Acanthopis and confirm, that I, Kalvis, join the SA. He thinks "But now we are facing the final conflict: SA vs ML. Only one of them can win and there is no other power to challenge the winner of this conflict to keep this universe going." This is not at all true, and in fact I'm sure in the not too distant past I even told Kalvis that if he would help ALL of us fight the SA, I would resign from the ML to give another alliance a chance. The ML threw ourselves together in a big hurry to fight the SA, and although some of them no doubt want to win it, I for one am much more happy to see the struggle for supremacy continue! By the time the SA are contained, there will be many opportunities for the R30, the TI, and even entirely new alliances to form.
