There are days when it feels like a great big "whack-a-snake" game over here in porcupine-land, what with the snakes, the hermits, and the arizonans all popping up all over the place every turn! This turn, we had not one, two, or three, but a whopping 7 battles! And oftentimes it feels like those snakes are really hydras - every time you whack one of them, two more pop up to take it's place! But that's why we're happy today, because FINALLY, we're pleased to report that this past turn, we whacked more than we got popped! The world is now short some 136 snake-lovers, and we only lost 81 Porcupines! Hee hee! (Even us dour porcupines have to find *something* to giggle about from time to time!) -- BP P.S. Now if only I could figure out how to keep Hermis from letting all my regions dissolve in Crises after he takes them... And how to keep Arizona from dissolving all his links to the regions that contain my big armies! ====================================================================== PE-WJ-Diplo [Acanthopis]: Whack-a-snake Date:Mon, 04 Jun 2007 13:11:51 +0000 To reply, log in at http://www.powersedge.org/?Page=Login or use your newspaper form. We try very hard to take most porcupines prisoner for release after we become friends again. I think you should do the same with snakes. You can keep us in little terrariums--we make fascinating pets! On the other hand, we make terrible briefcases. With plastics today, there's no reason to compromise on durability and ease of cleaning for your luggage needs. I must say, these region disasters are killing us! Last turn, Hermis and I BOTH lost our capitals, and this turn I lost a critical movement node. I'm glad to hear that they are annoying you as well. All the best, you nasty enemy, -- Acanthopis
