Maybe Snakey, you should hand them back before all of them just disappear. Never did he offer conflict, nor threaten to end the world! It is true he was a quiet sort, but the messages we did get from him were always kind and thoughtful, and his proposals just and equitable. The leader of the Eternal Legion may have departed this world, but his Legion itself was transferred to us, and so too the bulk of his territory. We will do what we can to honor his memory and protect his fair places from the slithering snakes and their silent fiends. [ er, sorry, friends! ] Though he has had to leave us now, we are grateful to the gifts that he sent us, and his spirit now flows through the old Porcupines, bringing us new life! We now become, for a few turns at least... -- The Porcupine Legions of Parnasse! ====================================================================== PE-WJ-Diplo [Acanthopis]: hisss Date:Tue, 22 May 2007 20:47:49 +0000 To reply, log in at http://www.powersedge.org/?Page=Login or use your newspaper form. This world is ruled my strategy, luck, and diplomacy. You need all three to succeed. I rule my nation with honor as the first and foremost principle and I know my fellow alliance members do the same or I would not have joined them. There is nothing dishonorable about a friend who can no longer rule his nation or provide for the people within it giving his armies over to someone he trusts with the request that they rule his former territories with a fair and just hand. That has always been a part of this world and always will. To ignore that or find some excuse to condemn it is a diservice to the people you serve. A leader must make use of all the tools available to him to allow his nation to succeed.
