This morning I woke up in lands untouched by war, that is now only a
fading memory in otherwise fresh mind. Thus I announce that this
Kalvis is no longer part of SA. I stress that I no longer consider
myself to be in war with ML and in alliance with SA.

The Porcupines' flags fly at half-staff today.

Kalvis, our great enemy -- and before that, once our good friend -- is
dead at last.  No more will baby Porcupines quiver at the tales their
mothers must tell them about Kalvis The Invader, to help them grow
into warrior Porcupines.  No more will the Porcupines rallly around
the memory of the Turn 206 Massacre, when Kalvis invaded us from all
sides without warning.  No more will the historians of the Great War
Against TS be called in to try to psychoanalyze Kalvis' past wars in
hopes of predicting his next moves in the current war.  No more. 
Kalvis is dead.  Those who fought on the front lines are now
celebrating, but those with a wider vision and a longer memory are
sad.  Kalvis, Kalvis is dead.

Long Live the New Kalvis!

We look forward to meeting his reincarnated self - at peace with him
again at last.
