I say chaps, its all a bit quite at the moment so I thought I might as
well put pen to paper.

I have now finished organizing the Diopmen after sending Kashka back
to the office. What a job! Talk about not knowing your right from your
left or the front from the rear!  Good job the link with Hermes was
broken some time ago, at that time they were just a mob milling about
all over the place. Now however they are an efficient, steady, solid,
organized fighting machine, which is a good thing as Ive now sent them
against my old adversary Mr Acanthopis.

Now the last time I fought him my army had all sorts of units.
Infantry, cavalry, artillery, field hospitals, mobile command centres
and even a few FFSU (friendly female support units) but this time the
whole lot is made up of infantry and every one of them has a long
sharp sword that can cut through a 6 inch hard rubber tube and is
wearing very large boots with 4 inch studs. The only mobile unit in
the whole army is in fact me mounted on an extremely fast horse.

To keep things simple the army has been organised into a number of
divisions and each division has five regiments. For example the
Household Division has the Broom, Brush, Dustpan, Mop and Washbasin
Regiments. Im pleased to say that the Household and Garden divisions
have now successfully attacked and taken two regions that belonged to
Mr Acanthopis. Now he knows that there is nothing personal about this,
as someone said somewhere else its only business but I expect his
beady eye will turn in this direction. 

Ah!  Time for tea and biscuits so must go now.

your little infantry heads from OUT OF THE SKY, BoldlyGo, 'cause we're
riding on jets now! 

So, you know, as long as we aim well...and don't hit the ground too
hard...Hrm...Whose idea was this? Anyway, just you watch out you
nasty.

My dear Mr. Snake, 

Boldly is perhaps not as proud of his other military innovation, but
let me assure you, the live-porcupine helmets worn by all his infantry
are excellent protection against falling snakes!  

Unfortunately we occasionally get mistaken for overgrown whiskers and
a few soldiers have suffered from quill-pricks while trying to shave
us off.  Not to mention the half-blind army barber who tried to give a
bunch of us a buzz cut!  Fortunately, I'm told that in that snakeskin
briefcase, Boldly carries some fine fighting spirits, er, I mean,
spirit. Anyway, the barber won't be feeling anything until he wakes up
again after it's all over.

a Frying Snack!

Well, poop! You have boots, you have pokey helmets... What am I
