(This is intended to protect the privacy of other players.) ====================================================================== The Porcupines, MacBook, and two other nations who want to live a bit longer hereby announce the formation of the Mongoose League, a defensive alliance dedicated to stopping the SA from ending the universe next turn! The Mongoose is a famous predator, one of the few natural enemies of snakes, and the nations of the Mongoose League will do everything in their power to stop the SA from ending the world. Right now the SA have 125 out of 282 regions that count (44.3 percent), down from 131 of 293 (44.7 percent) on Turn 206 when they started the 5-turn clock. At the moment they only need 94 regions (1/3 of 282) to end the universe. So although the Snake-lovers are slowly losing ground to the Opposition Forces, they started with such a huge advantage that the universe would still be doomed to end next turn, unless they lose 32 regions next turn (which is not gonna happen), or else another alliance is formed which has at least 2/3 as many regions as the SA. For the many nations who want to fight the snake-lovers a while longer, The Mongoose League is our only hope! The Porcupines P.S. A few turns ago Acanthopis referred to us as hedgehogs. The hedgehog and the porcupine are not reallly related. Hedgehogs live in Europe and have short quills that aren't very sharp. Number 5 in particular is what you're looking for: Maximum Alliance Size: Alliances must be declared publicly and may not be larger than either: 4 nations, 1/5 of the number of nations having 10 or more regions (rounded down), or the Alliance's current size, whichever is LARGEST.
