A group of 101 units loyal to Acanthopis arrives at the Region Sung! A force of 124 units loyal to OckerBoy are available to defend. Uh-oh: Shots are fired! ... the surviving defenders cheer as the last attackers retreat in disarray! Just to let everyone know it was no mistake, and this move into Sung was cleared with the Sorceress and neighbour Bold Porcupines, good to see SA members continue their spoiling game. Just so everybody knows. (This is intended to protect the privacy of other players.) ====================================================================== I'm playing a spoiling game? Hey, your troops turned mine back--I'm the one who should be griping about getting things spoiled! I'm thinking: 100 units ought to be plenty: OckerBoy's only got like 300, so how many can he possibly be moving around? 124, it turns out. I lost units 50-30. Those TI despoilers! Anyway, the region belonged to Sorceress when I sent in the orders. And I know where she has her units... But you'd better watch out for that OckerBoy--two turns ago he was trying to convince me to backstab a friend by sending uninvited intelligence. Then when we clash (he knew I was moving there--I warned him, he warned me, we battled) he gets all whiny about despoilers. But still, let me make clear a warning that I thought was obvious. I am in an alliance with three other people: Kalvis, Arizona, and Hermis (Hermis is the secret one, so pretend you don't know that. Maybe Hermis is in another alliance or a whole slew of alliances as well, just like James says. If so, joke's on me...But I digress). IF, LIKE OCKERBOY, YOU ARE AT WAR WITH ONE OR MORE OF THESE PEOPLE, THEN YOU SHOULD BE WARNED THAT I WILL EVENTUALLY HUNT YOU DOWN, ENGAGE YOU IN BATTLE, AND, um, LOSE A BUNCH OF UNITS. It's that simple, and you've been warned. That is, if I can keep track of who's at war with whom. Kalvis keeps telling me, but it seems like so many...And it's so hard for me to keep track of stuff in this crazy world. Maybe I need a spreadsheet... Have a nice day, mate. Did you know, by the way, that they kill snakes down there? For no good reason. Sometimes they swerve on the highway just to hit them. And then they laugh. Other times they step on our heads with their big Australian boots, just to impress their girlfriends. Like being all suntanned and, you know, running with sharp knives isn't impressive enough, they have to step on snakes too. Creeps. -- Acanthopis
