I just renamed an independant Genographic. I've decided namings should
have a christening, by  way of public announcement. Genographic is a
National Geographic project to map the deep roots of our human
journey, using mitochondrail DNA and the Y-chromosome.

My Y-Chromosome is Haplogroup 'N' or LLY22G. This arose in Western
Siberia on the steppe while glaciers and mammoth were wondering about,
and then moved westward, into far northern Europe, and Eastern Europe.
It is highly associated with Uralic speakers (Saami and other Western
Siberian groups as well as Finns, Lapps and Hungarians).
