My failed attempt to take The Shore was a planned academic move. Big T
was fully aware of my intentions. I will try again on T20 with an
adequate supply of students this time.

I am laying claim to the heavily defended Independant territory of
Tarakashka-163.  This move has been discussed with the only other
Leader connected to Tarakashka-163 at this time.  Because my scouts
have reported a much larger defense force than expected, I will not be
able to take this territory on this turn.  Thus, I am staking my claim
in public so that all will know of these intentions.

As mentioned in my previous message, I have laid claim on the healiy
defended territory of  Tarakashka-163.
I have unfortunately found another heavily defended territoy on my
border; the territory presently designated as Independant-240.  At
this time I am NOT making a claim on this territory, but would like to
eventually expand into this area.
If any Leaders happen to find this territory, be aware that it IS
quite heavily defended and that you will need a large force to invade.
If any managed to take this territory before I, please collect the
remains of those lost in an ill advised attempt at invasion and return
them for proper burial.

I'd like to ask Acanthopis and Nincompoop what's up with this region? 
I know you guys are starting hostilities but right now I have no
interest in joining either side.  This region is rather well-defended
with independent troops and if neither of you plans to take it next
turn then I'd like to bring these people into my nation and hopefully
provide them with a mostly peaceful existance.  It could also help to
provide each of you with one less border to worry about during this
conflict.
