PE-WI-Diplo [My Pretty Pony]: Ponies don't want war

Sorry to bother everybody, but I keep getting messages from folks asking me to join their alliance. Let me make myself clear, if I hadn't before. Ponies do not want war. Ponies will not be part of alliances that want war. Ponies will gladly join an alliance that has very stringent peacey policies and only allows members who do not want war, but ponies would rather lose the world than be all fighting. I won't explain all this again here, but pony thinking is in the archives. 

Others want ponies to say what we think about the war, so here it is. Ponies think that when somebody says they want to have "hegemony" over the world, that is the same as declaring war on the world. You are saying that you want to run everybody. So, ponies think that it is silly for The Alliance to be all whiney about getting attacked by surprise. If you want to run the world, you should just assume that people won't like it. If you make a secret alliance and leave people out, then by making it you break all of your old treaties, and it is up to others to decide if they want to stay friends or not. So, ponies don't think that LXG did anything wrong by using a surprise attack.

Still, ponies have friends on both sides, and would never attack anybody any more unless they attacked us first, so we continue to be all neutral in this war. We will play in our pastures and set aside bright places in the forest with hawthorn, oak, and ash, where the spirits of all the sad, dead people can come and play and eat blackberries. Lots of war ponies that we gave people are dying on both sides, too. That makes us cry.

So, don't be mad at us, we love you all, but don't ask us anymore to join your alliances. If anyone ever wants to drop out of one of the alliances and make a peacey alliance, we will always be listening, though we don't expect that.
