Today we pause to honor the memory of those injured or slain in yesterday's terrorist attacks.

We pause, also, to remember that history contains far too many of these instances of humanity's inexcusable inhumanity.

We pause to reflect on the terrible legacy which violence leaves in its wake, poisoning life for all who share this small planet we call our home.

We pause to hope that humanity will learn how to coexist with itself without violence.

And we pause to hope that humanity will learn to prevent the situations which create desperate and misguided people who feel violence is their only option, and death their only choice.

From now on, Power's Edge is officially dedicated to modeling, in its virtual worlds, the ways in which humanity's groups interact, and dedicated to exploring ideas which might help us learn how to share our world and its resources without destroying one another, or our planet. (But we will still have fun too.)

I wish you all well and hope that you, and those you know, have not been victims of violence, either today or in the past.
