As-Salamu Alaykumu, leaders of the world. The kingdom of Niani has sent forth emissaries of peace to the far corners of the globe, and we have begun to meet distant leaders. Here are the tidings our emissaries bring:

We, the Kingdom of Niani, led by Sundiata, a legend already, though he has not passed five decades upon the sands of earth, reach out in peace to any who may receive this message. Our goals are limited to trade and knowledge. None should fear our presence, for we pledge to attack none unless we are first attacked. Although we hold Chilam Balam as the wisest of leaders, for, like ours, his people appreciate the subtle beauty and power of emptiness: the value of that which does nothing more than hold a place; we pledge to make no deals with any of you that would require us to break our first pledge.

Know that no-one need fear the kingdom of Niani.
