(This is intended to protect the privacy of other players.) ====================================================================== I enjoyed the game very much, but now I'm bummed that we didn't have the massive war at the end. It sounds like we were very close to pushing Fluffy over the edge. It sounds like we were too timid with Superthing (should have pushed our units in to his territory faster). Now I wonder how it would have played out if Gordon was bit more of a jerk to the Fluffy Ducks. By the way, Small Fish new nothing about Gordon's attempt to draw Fluffy into a war, but we knew he would be with us if it happened. Another interesting thing is the mistake Gordon made that prolonged the war with Superthing. We had about 150 of his troops cornered and a force of about 200 ready to take them out. (numbers are only approximate). We attacked from our region with the entire force. He attack scouted the region, that is he sent one unit to attack. The big force and his force of one crossed. He attacked my region with only it's production of 3 available to defend and he won. My force of 300 won the battle against his 150 but this happened after he won my region on the scout attack. His surviving units about 100 retreated into my region he just won, there was no where else for them to go. Now he had about 100 units behind my lines. My surviving units had to chase them down. He was able to move the 100 units through my territories without serious opposition for about 5 turns before they were destroyed. This put my units out of position for the next attack and was a distraction. It happened by chance, did he plan it? If so it was brilliant. If I had left just a few units behind his one scout attack unit could not have won and his 150 units would have been destroyed in one attack. Whew. Until next time. Byt I will play in the 2008 tournament, but not as Gordon. Known here as Gordon
