(This is intended to protect the privacy of other players.) ====================================================================== Hello all, Before anything else I must say I enjoyed this universe a lot! Let's be honest. As a first reaction, when the last turn came, I was a bit disappointed to be listed at the third place. However this feeling didn't last quite long as, reading through posts, I realized that Frodo was a respected leader and considered having some degree of influence. For me this honor is as great of a victory as Fluffy's one. If you think back at the early days of this universe, you will remember I was always eager to be friend with each of you. And since I never intended betraying any friendship, I got myself caught in a diplomatically dense net. I too was counting on opportunities, or unjustified wars such as Fullerton, but I haven't been able to seize more than a few of them being surrounded by faithful neighbours! I intended to make an attempt at reaching the top of the ladder by the end, but not being able to play several out of the January updates I simply couldn't make it. The task was made even more difficult since I didn't want to face Fluffy directly but rather outnumber him in regions by other means. You might all ask yourself whether I was to join Gordon and Small Fish in the event of a war against Fluffy. I was indeed always close to Gordon and for a long time I didn't trust Fluffy considering him a hot tempered leader in the D'ni issue. In time of uncertainty, when Superthing became silent, I made Fluffy promise not to attack me through the end of the universe. Even so I never made myself such promise I would have felt truly bad and treacherous attacking him. Thus to be honest I do not know for sure what I might have eventually done. I might as well asked Scorpion's opinion considering him as a wise advisor and friend of mine all the time since we first met. If I was to award a role-playing prize, I would award it to D'ni without thinking twice. He was such entertaining story teller. I truly regret he had to quit leaving an empty place never filled. I would even urge each of you to ask the mighty moderator to reconsider his decision regarding coded messages, which in my opinion are fun especially when the code is as elaborated and tricky as D'ni inventions. As the second role-playing award, Scorpio is my pick with quite complex narration as well as coordination with D'ni political situation... In any case thank you everybody, I am impatiently looking forward to play Frodo and meet each of you again in the Tournament 2008. Frodo, a former Sorceress PS: Does someone know about how the two separate digit production system works in the new engine?
