A secret message has leaked! One Leader reportedly sent this message to another:

I know the Dinosaurs have (rather passionately) asked you to join them against me. I do not think I can win alone, and your decision is of great interest in the halls of my people! Although the odds would have been more in my favor, had I waited until defeating Air Marshall before engaging the Dinosaurs, I would not have had it otherwise. Even though everything was at stake, I would not have slept well if I had let the Dinosaurs consume you while I took out Air Marshall. By picking on the Dinosaurs early, I hoped to get his claws off your throat and allow you to rebuild. And on the flip side, my need to defend against the Dinosaurs now gives Air Marshall new hope... A much more engaging situation!

Please know that, should we remain allies and emerge victorious, I would gladly set up for a final, fair-contest, two-way world battle between us! If, however, your path requires us to be enemies (for a time at least), I will understand that as well, though I hope given our history that you could give me some warning.

Even if we remain partners, our future is in doubt once Past Master joins in. My own nation may very well perish in flames... and the Vortex seems set on taking at least one of my regions every other turn even without hostile Dinosaur invasions!

But even in the worst case, I will rest at peace knowing many things: first the Queen, and later yourself, gained new life from my efforts; also that the Dinosaurs finally found a fair fight with someone their own size (or maybe a bit larger?); and that the Musicians and Air Marshall finally got engaged instead of sitting idly... And of course, should all fail, I will rebuild as soon as I can, from my isolated region which none can invade!! I would think that if Past Master and the Dinosaurs defeat me, you might then join with Past Master against the Dinosaurs... So many possibilities...
