The Watchers congratulate Tzu on a hard-earned victory over our own
nation.  

We have detached our homelands from the 'net and are returning to our
non-interventionist past - we will indeed be "Watchers" again.  All
our previous diplomatic agreements (save our alliance membership) are
hereby considered null and void.  It remains our official policy not
to attack any nation without a minimum of 2 turns prior notice. 
(Beware, Independents, this is our declaration of war!  :) )  

We look forward to Watching what happens next between the two dominant
alliances!

I'd like to thank all of you for allowing the closest thing to
a one-on-one battle I've seen in the worlds I've visited.  Watchers
and Tzu have been fighting essentially for about 50 turns with no
major interference from others.  It is true that there have been
distractions and other conflicts taking units away from our borders
occasionally, but my statement still stands.  A note is in order
though--while I had often wondered what a one-on-one would be like,
it is not as interesting as more complex interactions--simpler but
not really more interesting.

Watchers II, thank you for an exciting Spring.  You are a
challenging and enjoyable opponent.  Perhaps we can meet again.
Of course, the next time we might be on the same side, but both
ways have been enjoyable so I look forward to it either way.

Sorry that disturb your illusion. 
You wrote about Watchers as though you win from him in fair one-on-one
battle. This is not the case and it certainly is not 
your personal victory. Look at the turn reports - there were several
big bullies which attacked Watchers in the past and ruined him to make
your easy pray. The forces were too far from equals. I think in fair
one-on-one battle against Watchers without external help you'll have
no chance.
