So, unless I am mistaken, next turn we will discover that xXx, Tzu,
and HAL 10000 have formed an official alliance.  Whoever their fourth
member is, they will almost certainly own more than 1/3 of the regions
in the Universe, which means that on Turn 45 the Universe will end and
we'll restart again.  Even if they don't get a fourth member, it
appears Mr. Odin has chosen to donate all his lands and units to xXx,
and so within a few turns they'll have over 1/3 of the regions even
without a fourth partner, and the end of the universe will only be
briefly delayed.

If you would prefer NOT to see this happen, please contact me
immediately, while there is still time to form a counter-alliance (or
two) to stop the aggressors' juggernaut!  They might still win, but it
would be truly pathetic if the rest of the us didn't even put up a
fight!

All (OFA).  We have no plans for additional members and do not plan to
pursue the victory condition at present.

I will not form an alliance with -xXx- and Tzu Doh Nam on turn 40.
After numerous discussions, an alliance was agreed upon last week
which will become official next turn. This alliance will consist of
Looney Tunes and myself. Our goals are still being discussed.
Immediate conquest is not one of our goals. Helping Asterix understand
my decision may be one our goals.

Asterix,
If two alliances have one or more common enemies then they can work
together against those enemies.  Two alliances cannot however combine
together to reach the victory conditions.  That is my understanding of
the rules.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

It's nice to hear from HAL that I appear to be mistaken.  Of course,
if this is just the same group of wolves dressing up as a different
set of sheep, ready to devour the rest of us before turning upon one
another, then I was actually correct in spirit. My only error would be
in thinking that the Big Four had enough honor to let the rest of us
out of our misery as soon as possible, rather than prolonging the
agony.

My own people would prefer to be Non-Aligned, but such is not to be
our fate.  Someone has to create a balance of powers.  There will be a
third alliance, but it will not be aggressive in nature.

Once again I think Watchers is overreacting a bit.  I'm expecting one
or two other alliances to form and with the large nations of Mr. Big
and painted dog still undeclared I think things could still go in any
direction.  The new world of rival alliances is still forming
Watchers, so don't tell everyone the sky is falling just yet.
