PE-RA-Diplo [-xXx-]: A treaty has been broken

Leila Skywalker is a careless and forgetful leader.  She attacked my
nation in four locations and found my borders very much undefended. 
This is because we have a peace treaty set to expire on turn 30.  This
is turn 27.  I have a copy of the message from her confirming this
fact that I can send out to the world if anyone needs to see it
although I don't think that should be necessary.

Leila, if this was simply a rash action and you forgot about our
treaty then this can be repaired.  Repay me for my lost units and
retreat out of my territories and then we can begin our battle on turn
31.  If you purposefully broke this treaty then I hope every single
nation that borders you sees that your treaties mean nothing and that
they will surely and swiftly join together to rid you from this
world.

PE-RA-Diplo [Asterix]: XXX  crocodile tears

Several turns ago, when xXx himself have attacked Winston Churchill
all of a sudden, it was Ok for him. Now, when Ms.Skywalker has paid
him on the same manner, xXx is  crying lamentably. For what reason,
isn't this his own favourite policy?

I have no idea who Asterix is as I have no borders with him and have
never done anything hostile towards him.  I must assume he's a leader
from the last world who decided to change his name and he has some
sort of grudge against me.  I just thought everyone should know that I
would never break a treaty as that would be dishonorable.  I had a
peace treaty with Churchill until turn 20 and didn't attack him until
after it expired.

There is a large difference between breaking a treaty  to invade
someone and invading without notice.  -xXx- did an even more noble
thing of giving Winston notice that he would attack well ahead of time
(Winston said so in his public diplo message).

In terms of honorable invasions, I guess I would say -xXx- was most
honorable; my invasion of NBE was next because I didn't give warning;
Liela's is definitely dishonorable if indeed she did break a treaty.
It means everyone else who borders her cannot trust that border even
if there is a treaty.

Liela?  Is it true that you had a treaty with -xXx-?

xXx, just one small episode from your "glorious" past.
On turn 71 in WI you have attacked a nation of MonteC, that was
distinctly smaller and weaker than you. You had made it prior the
moment when promised 5 turn warning period expired.
This fact proved to us that:
- you are dishonorable leader indeed;
- you are also a liar, as you have declared in your previous message,
you never deed anything dishonorable.

This is my last message on this subject - do not expect endless
discussion, boring everyone in this game. And you may write anything
you want to justify your previous agressions, but this will be just
your mere words, that contradicts with your actual deeds. See example
above. It was your mistake to don't change that dirty dishonorable
name, that is like a stain...

Anybody have a clue why Tzu Doh Nam so zealously supports xXx? :-]

PE-RA-Diplo [-xXx-]: Haha, good ole' MonteC

So Asterix is the former leader MonteC.  I don't think I can really be
accused of having a short memory since he did change his name.  I'm
proud of my name and have done nothing to dishonor myself so I felt no
need to change it when entering the new world.

Just for the benefit of everyone who wasn't around in the last world,
MonteC was quite the character.  He kept going around exploring and
finding new regions.  The only problem was that other leaders had
found those regions first.  As soon as Monte laid eyes on the
independant regions he would claim them and attack immediately.  He
managed to really irritate about 3 or 4 of his neighbors with these
practices so we all gave him notice that we were going to attack him. 
He then announced that he was retiring that very turn so we decided to
go ahead and attack before all of his regions melted away into
independents.  Something went wrong with the resign button and it
didn't do anything so Monte tried to make it sound like he was the
victim because we all didn't observe the 5 turns notice before we
attacked him.  He tried to turn the resign button not working to his
favor but thankfully Bob Almighty stepped in and made the button work
for him.  He was a very shady character that never seemed to grasp the
concept that whichever nation finds a region first has rightful claim
to it.  He also didn't seem to grasp that you shouldn't anger all of
your neighbors at once.

Announcement from the Moderator to All Leaders:

I just want to remind everyone that this Universe has a rule of only
two global announcements per leader per turn.  This is not enforced by
the game software yet, so please watch yourselves.  I don't want to
have to issue penalties!

PE-RA-Diplo [Winston Churchill]: In Support of Leila Skywalker

I do not know the details of what agreements Leila may have had with
-xXx-. 

Leila had offered to help me in my conflict with Tzu and -xXx-. Last
turn she asked me if she could delay her entry into this war for
several turns. I told her that in several turns, Tzu and -xXx- will
have eliminated my armies if I did not receive assistance now. This
may have been what led her to act now instead of later. 

I can only say that I am deeply grateful for her support. It may not
be enough, as Tzu and -xXx- have gathered significant armies to
conquer my last few counties. But I am hopeful that with the support
of Leila and The Watchers, the invasion of my nation will be repelled.
