Gents - 

Sorry about the repeated bugs on the update.  The region crisis
feature would rather crash than eliminate any of you. :)  I think it's
fixed now and all will soon be over.

By the way, I've been working on a new "quick start" system and some
other modifications, which will be ready in the Development Zone as
soon as I get the player signups working again.  It might be a while
yet, but I thought since you had all been here for so long and been so
patient with me, you might be interested in being guinea pigs for that
effort.
I'll send out a bigger announcement as soon as I can.  (I've got a day
off work tomorrow and will try to push it all through then, but not
promises.)
