It's been almost two years for this game. I've come to the conclusion
that it will never end except if one of two things happen. Either two
will ally against the third, or one of us will say "screw it" and
attack one of the others until the third has an overwhelming
advantage. 

I came close to achieving a sustainable advantage recently. But not
close enough. Earlier Truman almost achieved that same advantage, and
the First stopped attacking me and attacked Truman instead. 

Now I am under major attack. Virtually all of the First's armies are
in my regions, attacking me.  Truman has a large isolated army in my
regions as well. If the First keeps up the attack, then Truman will
win. I have no borders with Truman, so he and I will not be fighting
beyond this one army. 

I think we have proved the point. Unless one of us goes suicidal, an
alliance forms, or just the right set of regions and links disappear,
I think we've reached a stalemate. I'm ready to call it a draw at this
point.

What do you guys think?

I agree with everything Scherazade has said, let us declare a draw and
end this game.  We have learned all there is possible to learn from
this situation.  Bravo to the three survivors.

PE-QS-Announce [Moderator]: Final Phase

Announcement from the Moderator to All Leaders:

Thanks for humoring me with the three-way finale.  It's interesting to
hear how well the balance of power has worked out with three equal
nations, each taking turns rising to the top and then getting cut down
by the other two.  Evidently at least two of you weren't Machiavellian
enough to cut a deal and wipe out the third one...

Since at least two of you are "done", though, lets wind this down. 
Rather than just end it, though, I suggest we "fade out" and play Last
Man Standing.  I've gone and set the region-crisis threshold to zero,
so that Region Crises will start picking off regions again, and the
universe will steadily evaporate over the next several turns until
nothing is left except one region.  We might get stuck at a stagnation
point where all the regions are disconnected and no one wants to
reconnect anything -- we'll cross that bridge when we get there.  If
nothing else, I'll declare the most powerful nation at that point (by
regions, production, units in that order) to be the winner.

Alternatively, if two of you want to try to fight it out one-on-one,
we just need a volunteer to resign and let the other two try a
head-to-head war.
