Okay Bob, I've gotta get this off my chest. 

ARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!

What the hell is going on with the TV universe? Am I damned for all time, or just incredibly, stupendously unlucky, or is there a bug in the code?

As Duke Stephan, I clawed up to 27 (or was it 28 regions), only to have 5-6 of them systematically stripped away by regional crises. After sitting still and sulking for a period, I tiptoed out to liberate a stray neutral (going from 22 to 23 regions) and within 1-3 turns, WHAM! I got a region stripped off me again. As it stands, I'm scared now to set foot outside my borders.

Meanwhile Anachronism sits boldly on 28-29 regions and Red Claw at 26, and with just the very occasional RC to wave away with a flick of the wrist. Could it be that the code has 'remembered' that I was large once and continues to punish me for this misdemeanour, or ?? 

Overall, not fun at all, with salt rubbed in the wounds by seeing others no so similar afflicted (here I was, waiting for turn after turn to revel in Anach's regional crises like my own, only to be denied even that schadenfreude pleasure). I'm left to forever twiddle my thumbs, accumulate troops and build production slowly, never daring to do anything out of the square. Yawn.


As to this Universe, I've no complaints. Yes I'm taking a double pounding and have had my universe badly fragmented by poorly timed/located internal link breaks, but overall, it's been fun! Whereas my battles against the regional crisis God in TV has not...
