Well, well, well....  Not just three holes in the ground, there may be some truth to the Time Lord assertion that the Heeter has been manipulating results!  I have been connected to Vulcan for some time, yet immediately after announcing intentions to occupy the region (for the safety of the inhabitants!) I have lost my single connection!
Mr. Heeter, as previously requested by the Time Lords, please explain this occurrence!  Are we really to believe that mere coincidence has again left Vulcan in your hands?  What is it about Vulcan that inspires such treachery and deceit?

So, mysterious happenings continue with more treachery from HeeterBob
II. The Time Lords will not idly stand by. We have started our purge of

Man, I can't even *give* Vulcan away!

I stood by while the Vulcanians seceded.  I invited Ivan's forces to come in, as I wanted no part of the region.  Then I fat-fingered the instruction to transfer the Vulcanians to Ivan's region (and attempted to send them to another of Ivan's regions, far away)...  and now it seems the mighty Vulcan himself is displeased, and has banished all other links to the region.

I am stuck with them.  

Well, when given lemons... might as well send them as shock troops to fight the invading Gothian hordes!
