Perhaps it is time for you to sue for peace?  I am not pressing my assault on this turn to give you some time to think things over, but since you are fighting a losing battle you may want to consider your choices!
(Not that I would actually accept at this point, but this does give me a chance to do a little fortification and react to that heinous witch who keeps taking my territories...  smilie  Note that since this is a friendly game I've added this last part just so that the subterfuge of diplomatic messages is shown in the open for those that are new to the game...  bigger smilie)
(Oh, and just in case the First Viceroy isn't aware, the heinous witch is in my wife in real life...  And, despite a few slip ups here and there of very minor proportions, we have NOT spoken of the game details outside of the proper diplomatic channels.  Although, I do admit to giving her guidance in general terms since it is her first game, but for quite a number of turns now she has been on her own...)
