You and I should be somewhat ashamed of ourselves - here we are, embroiled in this big battle - and there's no diplomatic trash talk going around at all!!! So - let me get it started... Hah - San Jose choked again, and the Wild are going nowhere; but one of us guys from Halifax got to sleep with the Stanley Cup! (I was, of course, born there!!!) (Larry; just in case you don't know, that a reference to hockey...) (And, in case anyone didn't see it, there was a picture circulated around the 'Net of Sidney Crosby sleeping with the Cup!) I'm gonna hav'ta whoop your butt! FOR HALIFAX!!! ;-) Ivan WP-PF-Diplo [HeeterBob]: You call that Trash Talk? The reason San Jose stinks at hockey ("the sport for people with nothing better to do in the winter") is quite simple: there's never any ice around here. or snow! When the weather is sunny and warm for 8 months out of the year, people's minds turn to, like, outdoor sports (you know, like, the real kind). Now, I know hockey is rightfully played outdoors, just like baseball and football, but how come the "professionals" don't do that anymore??? For that matter, how come the kids don't do that anymore??? I guess folks in some parts of the world are too busy dreaming about sleeping with their trophies to get outdoors and actually enjoy nature... (Of course, down in San Jose, there are lots of people who dream about sleeping with their ComputerS... but I digress...) Now, watch out, because I'm gonna be kicking your sorry hockey pucks all over the rink this turn! (Or not...) P.S. I grew up in Minnesota. Amazingly, I actually do understand hockey madness. I even played myself for a few years as a kid... I still remember they played Bee-Gees music in the ice arena when we were practicing... (As I was saying, Hockey's not a real sport!) Well, at least, I used to understand it. Now, I find it amusing that people find watching grownups crashing into each other so entertaining... Although it beats golf, boxing, American football, rugby, and I daresay cricket as a real sport...
