Power's Edge Announce: Player Accounts - Names Needed

Announcement from the Moderator to All Leaders:

We're ready to transition all the "mainline" Power's Edge universes to
the new software that we've been running on the Development Zone.  As
part of the process, we need everyone to create an official "Player
Account" name - a permanent name (or alias) that will give you a "real
world" identity that's independent of any single leader/universe. 

Down the road, this will enable us to:
(1) Set up a "Leader score" and then create various ranking ladders
for all players (total score of all leader, most leaders, average
leader score, etc.),
(2) After each universe ends, everyone can find out "who was who"
(which players were roleplaying each leader),
(3) Set up a Player's Forum (message board/blog) for discussion of
past universes,
(4) Allow individual players to create and/or moderate new universes
(you pick the rules!),
and more...

If you could please reply to this email with your choice of player
account name, we'll get you set up before the transition (which will
be between the Wednesday and Saturday updates NEXT week).  Otherwise,
we'll pick something for you (you'll be able to change it online
later).  If you'd like to tell us which Leaders (in past universes)
you were responsible for, we'll include that information as well (but
the ranking system will be based on new universes, not current or past
ones).

Also, we have a new Universe in the works (details soon), and right
about when that starts, we'll be welcoming our 1000th Leader since
Power's Edge began!
