Power's Edge Announce: Sudden Conflict - New Era!

Announcement from the Moderator to All Leaders:

Beorge Gush, having withstood all challengers, is hereby declared the
Hegemon of Sudden Conflict!  Individual Hegemony is established when a
single leader controls over 1/3 of the regions owned by the
interconnected nations, and holds on despite all attempts to dethrone
him.  Beorge held off many foes while avoiding conflict with
Frederick.  He then turned and surprised Frederick, nearly wiping him
from the map.  New challengers arose, but none could stand up quickly
enough to take on Beorge.  

Congratulations to Beorge Gush!

Alas, Beorge has grown old, and it is time for him to step down.  As
he is gently retired and shipped off to his very own private tropical
island (and the Leaders of Legend page), the Sudden Conflict universe
goes through a tremendous cataclysm, and a New Era awaits!
