Power's Edge Announcement: Bugs Quiet; Dev Zone Awakening

Announcements from the Moderator to All Leaders:

(1) The loss-of-data bugs have been silent for the past 4-5 days. 
Hopefully they are gone for good, but it's too soon to tell.  I did
finally receive this report from the ISP regarding their efforts to
look into this:

So we're back into wait-and-see mode.  Please let me know if you find
any inputs have gone missing.  (I did a cross-check earlier today and
it appeared all was well.)

(2) Meanwhile, the Development Zone is taking shape on an alternative
web host provider!  The URL is http://pe-dev.net/  (that's all).  I
had to work around several differences in how they organize things,
and along the way I had several great ideas for improving how
everything is done, so several things are still not ready yet. 
However, there is a game ("Trial and Error"), and as of a few hours
ago it was possible to sign up for it!  The updater is still having
bugs dealing with the new code I put into the web interface, though,
so there will not be an update until at least Saturday.  Trial and
Error uses the old ruleset; the Alpha Test Invitational game using the
new ruleset is still dormant until I get time to fix it up further. 
Be forewarned that anything can and will change at any time on the
Development Zone!  I hope to set up a development-discussion forum
there soon so we can bounce more ideas around.
