Hey Dave - 

Ivan hasn't moved for 3 turns.  He also just missed his move in the PF universe where we're also playing.

I'm guessing something must've come up in real life because normally he's extremely reliable!

I don't know if it makes sense for us to carry on without him.  Want me to pause the game until we hear from him?

Bob,

Yeah--Ivan just sent me a Facebook message saying he was traveling and hadn't been able to submit turns. I suppose he must have had access to the web but not his e-mail. While I appreciate your willingness to stop killing me while he is away, in truth it doesn't matter much. This game is effectively over. Once you had more production and armies than we did, our only hope was to outmaneuver you with our extra turns. It doesn't look like that's going to happen at this point! Also, given that you produce 100 units more than us each turn, waiting until he comes back will probably just create more issues than it solves. I'd say let's just let you bang away at us and then, when Ivan comes back, we can decide whether the game is effectively over or not.

If Ivan sees this and disagrees, he's welcome to say so. I am, of course, happy to stop playing while we wait for him to return if he'd like to do that.

Hey guys - just got home for about 36 hours - we're good to keep playing...  Just a little burnt out, I did 4500 of the 4700 kms - just shy of 3000 miles...  Will give a little more detail after I relax for bit - but note that it was all good stuff, nothing bad in case peoples minds wandered that way!!!
Sorry about that - things happened VERY quickly!!!  I will get my turns in before heading to NS on Saturday!

I think we are all in the other game so I don't have to repeat that message here...  Good successful trip - I'll get this turn in, but I think we're in trouble David!!!
