You needn't worry about giving away plans: your units will crush me in Pumped Irrigation and I will have no consolidated armies of over 200 fighters left. The game seems to think that it's funny to locate my new capital in a region that you are attacking that turn, so I lose the capital before I ever even knew where it was. I think I have actually had only one turn where I could move since you invaded. Maybe two, I'd have to look to be sure. It wouldn't have mattered much: I could have put up an interesting defense in the few moves after the invasion. I had to get to irrigated fields to consolidate. I have a total of a little over 500 armies in the regions that border it immediately, and that may have been enough to do something interesting. My hope was to put that army out on the board, and if Ivan could consolidate his armies and get them out there then we could use our move advantage to attack and you would have trouble taking our more lightly defended regions because you couldn't do that and consolidate at the same time. Sadly, it never got underway. We can talk about the victory after this move, if you'd like, but it is quite an achievement. Granted, I guessed badly about when you would begin your attack, and that was foolish. In my mind the narrative of the game so far was that you guys kept breaking the dominant alliance too early, so my plan was to avoid that at all costs. I was starting to prepare my defense, but had clearly not learned the right lesson from the past 200 or so turns. Still, even with me screwing up, it's an impressive achievement to beat two other foes. Nice work, Bob!!!
