perhaps next time, check with one unit. or maybe ten. that check cost us a lot of units. anyway, i have just about given up the ghost here. my units are spread and he is consolidating. he has more armies than the two of us combined and way more production. the only thing we have more of than him is moves, but if he keeps taking my capitals we lose even that. you have only eight regions, so i was a bit surprised at the number of armies you were able to get into elderberries. hopefully a lot more will come this turn. you are going to need over 200 to even begin to make an attack. if you can't bring the full force of your nation to bear upon him soon, it will be over before you have even begun. i don't know how fragmented your lands are--i suppose that could be the problem. i think we are already too late--totally my fault for not having my defenses in place before i took 92--but hopefully we can at least stage an interesting attempt. the problem is that my biggest army is now smaller than his biggest army, and that army is chasing mine. I had hoped to use that army to keep him from consolidating, but you demanded that it stay in 92, so it did. not your fault--how could you have known--but i think our transition from enemies to allies was too slow, given the hole i dug. oh well, it has been an enjoyable war!
