(This is intended to protect the privacy of other players.) ====================================================================== Out of character I find this game is kinda like chess - pretty damn complicated chess, but similar ideals. My initial expansion phase was, as played in the game, a mapping exercise. I still refer to the map I created at the height of my empire, as it were. There is a power balance. Bob is usually the big leader, and if David makes another big mistake he's in serious trouble. But any all out offensive at a single opponent draws fire from two sides, and no one is in a position to take on both opponents. Personally, due to Bob's analysis being correct (at least on my account), a cessation of hostilities (or turtling) would be advantageous! But, I have a new tactic I'd like to try out! Something needs to change the balance! What he doesn't take into account is my borders! Substantially less regions, but more borders! By quick count, I have eight regions that if I lose an can't retake my empire collapses! And half my territories connect to one of you! I'm not complaining, or bragging - I'm saying this one is epic. No matter what happens with the game in the future, this will be a reference game forever! [BIG smilie] Oh, and Dave - thanks for the warning, now I know where a bunch of the armies that pushed me out of that region went! [smilie] I've been thinking and maybe that's something that should be reported more often?!?!
