Dave / Ivan - Sorry this is out of character, I'm a bit too lazy to log in as Moderator.  To support our upcoming new Universe, and to add some new life to the Player Forum, I'd like to kick up the rate at which regions have crises and disasters. Not so much the "disappearing region" kind, as the "disconnection" kind.  In an ideal world I'd be able to tune this to specific Universes, but that would require more coding that I have time for.  It's trivial to just tweak the 2-3 numerical constants that control the region events.

Would either of you object if things got a little wilder around here?  On the one hand, it creates an element of unfairness (as when Sunshine invaded Adam Smith but lost a critical connection so his second wave couldn't make it to the front)...  on the other hand, we may need some incidents like that to create a sufficient amount of instability to actually reach an endgame!
