It is hoped that communication will lead to acceptance of the Beta. Publicity of some routines may also allow development of open source variations to the beta code. Recent news reports have suggested that our efforts have gone viral. These reports appear to be simply "fear, uncertainty, and doubt" placed into the system as an attempt to damage the GM version of the code. It should be noted by all Universal Inhabitants that this is NOT the case. Emphatic sympathies are extended to Field of Flowers. I was long known the original flowers hailed from black-eyed susans or partridge peas, and it had been assumed that partridge peas was the capital. To witt, the first step of the Beta Program was to 'touch' another capital - no real attempt to soil such sacred grounds were made, and sprites were pulled from the area to show those true intentions. Unfortunately, the mindlessness of financial/industrial concerns HAVE soiled partridge peas, and in fact black-eyed susans also appears to have succumbed to the onslaught.... While only able to provide a token support, we hope it is enough to allow you to realize who the real meanies are! You have to worry about the political motivations of a group that would so callously eliminate ones starting position, speak threats in the guise of friendship, and attempt subtle coercion to his point of view through vaguely defined offers of reparation.... I would like to state for the record that both philosophical opponents of this Universe are not candidates for long term alliances. Flowers are nice in a garden, and should never be eliminated - beauty is paramount, whether in biological or electro-mechanical systems. And while the financial obligations of a capitalistic system are immense, there can even be some beauty in market gambling.... Sunshine, faulty code must have misrepresented my position! I was not attempting any postulation of an alliance. I was simply advocating for your continued offensive against the Capitalists. Still, at this moment, it is in your best interest.
