Well, pooper. A random disconnect cut off my supply line to my capital and replaced it with external links, and now there are capitalists digging up all of my partridge peas and selling them to ethanol plants. Things don't look good for our hero....

Dear Sunshine - 

We apologize for trampling on the sacred land of the partridge peas. We had not been paying attention to the road signs and didn't realize it was your capital. Fortunately, no pesticides have been used and we are practicing only "sustainable organic" invasion methods.  We hope your new capital is farther from the front lines, and that no further region crises descend upon you when you least expect it.

If in fact you feel that your invasion of our lands may have become a strategic mistake, and would like to call a temporary halt to hostilities (before we wipe out your errant force at Hammer, for instance; I know it's too late for the one at Galbraith and it may already be too late for the one at Farnsworth)... we would be willing to offer some of your regions back, including Partridge Peas.  

Those computer guys are getting viral again, and a cease-fire may be in both our interests.  Our Roundup Force is heading to some of your lands that they are despoiling.  Too much risk of "Programmed" recombinant DNA "beta versions" running amok...  We will be happy to remediate any lands we return to you in full.
