So, you're holding a comfortable lead in units, production, and of course profitability, and then you go on a trip for a few days... But you miss a couple of moves because the darned webmail strips out all the forms in the gamefiles, and you can't use your normal email program... so then you come back and half of your corporate balance sheets have been overrun with little smiling happy flower stamp thingies! Or are those real flowers??? Yikes! WP-09-Diplo [Sunshine]: oh! Date:Tue, 20 Oct 2009 14:01:12 +0000 To reply, log in at http://www.websofpower.com/?Page=Login or use your newspaper form. We figured that you were just reorganizing your units for a big party. It actually had us very nervous. Next time you go, if you could say something first then it will make planning significantly easier. I thought that the fair thing to do would be to let you have all of your buildings back, but when I suggested that to my friends, they didn't like the idea at all. They are having a really great time decorating those boring old marble walls. Would you mind if they stayed a little longer? I think that the longer they stay, the happier you'll be with the result. I did want to say that I think somebody must have made a mistake in side oats gramma. It looks like they accidentally chopped up the prairie and planted lots of corn. Corn doesn't even have flowers. We're working to fix the problem, but it's really hard. Anyway, I guess these sorts of things happen, so I'm not mad. I just wanted to let you know so that you can be sure not to give bonuses to the people who made that mistake. I learned in my economics class that it is very important that bonuses be tied to tangible improvements, or else they incentivise bad decisions. Yesterday I took Old Firmament and improved production in a region for old time's sake. I thought--hey, 4 more production, that's gotta be good! But I lost 4 production in other cities. Not due to disasters, just trade losses I guess. As a capitalist, maybe you can explain to me how that works? It's still all so confusing to me... Not to worry, though... I'm sure this will still be fun!
