Battles on large scale and fronts that span dozens of systems will make us think back of the relative quiet period we are currently experiencing. For it is I who knows that stopping this war is no in it's power and so have chosen to aid and support the factions of Earth First! and Frisealaich in their quest to pass on a reasonable civil code to their controlled systems. For it is their side that has proven right and it is the side of RIGHT that will prevail under any condition. What seemed to be a clash between a larger nation, Frisealaich, and a smaller nation, Retired Warlords, seems to be turning into a world war. Leaders that are familiar with Hobbits may know that we are a peaceful nation seeking pleasure, entertainment and for the most adventurous of us, trade. We intended to support our Warlords friends, knowing and trusting them since the balance of power was not fair. Yet we wished to remain peaceful with all our neighbours and further neighbours not taking part into a blood bath. But Lord Lovat, that I never met in person, and still would invite him to smoke a good pipe at my place in Hobbitton, insulted women and we cared for that having lovely female hobbits. Further more, GW Hayduke that is naturally welcomed to visit me anytime soon as well, made the clash even less balanced. What had to be done had to be done and we had to leave the comfort of our holes under the hill to militarily defend peace and balance in this always thrilling expansion of Middle Earth. With the help of Lar-se once again it was fairly balanced thus loyal and interesting, but now to great leaders threaten fairness again after multiple attempts to discuss the matter and find solutions. Hobbits long hoped peace could prevail and the clash to remain limited. But we were wrong. Since war is now on the edge, at least it could have been an interesting one, sociologically and militarily. The winning side at the end could have been proud of its victories and its strategical decisions. Now that the winning coalition is obvious, not by more clever leading, but by pure number, we can only admit that Hobbits are soon going to be wiped out of Middle Earth, our home lands. It is a sad day for our folk indeed, not to take our place in the final good against evil battle. We must say we respect everybody choice, even Lord Lovat and GW Hayduke themselves that despite different sociologic and political views we liked alike. The only thing we regret is somehow the spoiling of a loyal battle.
